Negligent doctors?

Clinical negligence, also known as medical negligence, can occur at anytime. Medical negligence is when a doctor, nurse or any other medical professional acts wrongly which results in the pain and suffering of another party.

For example, if a doctor provides a misdiagnosis or wrong diagnosis to a patient, and as a result the patient suffers from injuries or other complications as a result, the patient may be eligible to file a clinical negligence claim against the doctor, clinic or hospital.

In one case, a doctor acted negligently after failing to sport a fracture in a man’s arm. The man had hurt his arm and went to the hospital. Staff at the hospital carried out minor checks and allowed the man to go home.

Although an x-ray had been carried out, a fracture was not seen.

In the documents of a compensation claim. it was stated that the hospital had failed to carry out other checks which could have spotted the fracture.

In a recent case, a man who's arm was left disfigured after on-going operation cancellations by a hospital, has filed for compensation for the act of clinical negligence.

The man is unable to carry out his normal daily tasks and is worried that he will not be able to drive and work in the future.
